Of digital pens and not having to type at the light of speed…

May 7th, 2009 • Category: Objects of Desire |

Would you have imagined that what you write on a piece of paper can now be stored on your computer, stroke for stroke, however lousy your handwriting might be?

A digital pen known as the ZPen that has been designed by the Dane-Elec Corporation now comes along with the additional purpose of being able to store information that you’ve written on paper or other surfaces in a digital format. The best part of it all is the ZPen recognizes 16 different languages that are most used in the world today.
This pen comes with a 1GB USB receiver so once you finish writing you can transfer what was written to your PC or notebook, which I’m sure you would like to do, for documentation purposes. The device costs about $185 and the batteries can be used for about 20 hours as well.

This pen is a boon for writers who pen down their thoughts randomly (and yes, we choose to call it inspiration), which they can rework later. Or even for people who aren’t keyboard savvy as well.

I really consider this product as a true innovation, as it will help you put all your information into a computer without reducing you to a techie with the ‘carpal tunnel syndrome’.
