Jun 2nd, 2009 • Category: Health and Beauty |A bitter truth of women’s life is that majority of them are prone to fat deposition particular in their thighs, hips and abdomen areas. The texture of the skin in these areas gives an appearance of “orange peel” or dimpled skin commonly known as cellulite–a trouble in many women’s life! A routine self-massage can help to improvise the texture of the cellulite prone areas which results in a more toned and firmed skin. In addition, it also gives a feeling of weight loss. In case of hard cellulite, one can practice steady and definite movements to make the particular area soft and helps in better circulation. If the cellulite area is soft and watery, more gentle movements should be practiced to trickle away the lymph.

Take a comfortable position and place your left hand on your diaphragm. Further, apply little herbal oil with your right hand, in clockwise direction to the area near the navel.
Just like you knead flour, knead your affected area by pushing and pinching your flesh with one hand and letting out to the other.
Keep your left hand on the right in order to provide extra pressure all around your navel, when giving massage.
